New Updates : Circulation, Cataloging, Reports, OPAC

Dear users, after almost a year, there will be new updates on Cataloging and Circulation module.


Please take note that there are also some modifications done in the structure of the database so you should also download the InfolibUpdate.Exe (to modify the structure).

Before running this program, you should BACK-UP FIRST THE gldb.mdb (your database).

Some of the updates are

a. Fixing of Holdings --rte - wrong date format (type mismatch)
b. Additional function that can Import XLS and MARC
c. Additional function that can Export to XLS, Pipe delimited text, text file and MARC
d. Modified Card Format e. Fixing of Search by Title and Subjects results

For Circulation Module the following are the updates:

a. Import patron records from MS Excel(xls)
b. tblFineCode - Add Official Receipt(OR) Number field
c. F9 ITEM Information, fixed: Added Search by Call Number
d. Dialog box to inform the user before lending out reserved items.
e. Added "Cancel Reservation" button
f. Overdue date during closed Dates will be moved to the following open date.
g. Checkbox for PerHour Material before doing Check-out
h. Checkbox for Same day Duedate
I. Close button on Help-Import from xls file--now visible.
For Reports Module the following are the updates:

a. Current Loaned-out items
b. Separated Cat & Circ reports
c. Added- Acquisitions in date range
d. Modified - Circulation user statistics
e. Added- Check-outs that occurred in date range

Users can also download the new Infolib Archive Manager. It is a simple archive database management system to be used in record management.
