WebOPAC hosting of Infolib database

Dear Infolib Users
Good day. As part of Infolib continuous support to small and medium libraries, a
new service will be provided to you. Getting your library collections (WebOPAC) on
the web should not be a hassle. Let Infolib simplify the process making it easy for
you to establish your Internet presence.
Take a look at this site :

Your WebOpac search page will be hosted in the Infolib website. Aside from the
WebOpac search engine,your site will have your own logo/banner and library
description.
These are the requirements to avail this service:
1.a. Download the latest Forweb.rar. It is composed of two files, Forweb.exe and
Forweb.mdb. Extract these files to the glsystems folder.
B. Run
Forweb.exe
Click the Clear ForWeb Database Tab. Wait for the message
"Cleared Forweb". Click OK.
Click "Generate Records for Forweb Database".
It will generate records. Wait for the message "Finished Export".
Click OK.
2.You are going to send us the generated
Forweb.mdb
3.Send us also the pictures to be used in the logo/banner of the WebOpac
4.Send us also the decriptions/history/contact details of the library.
5.The URL of your WebOpac will be emailed to you, three (3) days after the receipt
of the above requirements.
6.You will be given twenty-two days to evaluate the WebOPAC from the day the URL is
sent to you.
Should you decide to continue the service on or before the end of the evaluation
period, a written request should be sent to us indicating your intent to continue
the service and a donation of US Ten Dollars ($10.00) for one year service.
A yearly reminder will be sent to you twenty-two days before the year-end service.
